We felt like our kids were missing something too, especially our teenagers. I hated every minute of it! Just last week we sold the playstaion, rock band and all the games. I've been asking my hubbie to sell it for a while. When he realized that he could buy a Kindle with the money from selling the PS3, he sold it in a day. Maybe you could tell your hubbie he can use the money for one of his hobbies. Interestingly when the lady who bought the PS3 came to get it, the kids were playing their last game and they didn't even whine or cry when it was time to hand it over. It was very peaceful and wonderful. I'm so glad we said goodbye. Good Luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862285040965195607.post-52839826254771037632010-11-29T12:40:25.063-07:002010-11-29T12:40:25.063-07:00UGH! The bane of my existence.

The past 4 years though I have come to despise them and their addictive quality. I've had so many arguments with my husband over those toys it's ridiculous. Luckily he agrees with me that the kids shouldn't be playing it since he's seen how our son acts during and after (just like yours). We've really been trying to actively have the spirit in our home lately. My husband hasn't touched the xbox in months and I'm hoping if he does he'll notice the difference and get rid of it :).Mrs. Small Househttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02682127260608971252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862285040965195607.post-14882357803561399032010-11-29T10:07:12.357-07:002010-11-29T10:07:12.357-07:00I've always been anti video games. Needless to say my hubby, dad and sister spent almost every waking minute they were in the condo playing the Wii. It hurt my feelings that we were on a FAMILY vacation and Jeff spent most of the time ignoring me.Juliettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17651015508397610577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862285040965195607.post-74798564681476173202010-11-29T09:43:23.583-07:002010-11-29T09:43:23.583-07:00Hold your ground! In our case the home and children are my main stewardship. I understand not wanting to push it with your husband though. Just keep the wii away long enough and hopefully everyone will detox enough to see and feel the difference.Amynoreply@blogger.com
